The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Artist's Description
A winter sleigh ride through the sugar bush by the sugar shack with buckets filling with sweet sap from the maple trees. My family enjoyed this experience when I was child and it is one of my favorite childhood memories. I remember the sleigh ride, the dinner with maple cured meats and desserts, and the maple syrup taffy poured on snow so we could twirl it on sticks to enjoy.
